Tattoo Idea’s…

Most of these are arm tattoos however I need something to cover up a rather bad attempt at a dragonfly that I had done several years ago. The existing tattoo is on my leg so any of these “ideas” will be modified slightly (if necessary) to fit the form of my leg.

Ignore James/Kyle on this as well… just something I pulled off the internet… 🙂

Any thoughts, suggestions, comments?

While sitting in the waiting room at Dr. M’s office I heard something I hadn’t heard in a long time… the nursing staff came out and called for Mrs. McCoy…

I haven’t been Mrs. anything in several years, actually 15 years this month to be exact. Now granted I am sitting here waiting to have my hearing tested and they weren’t speaking to me but it still jolted me a bit…

Trust is a huge aspect of any type of relationship.  Without that vital piece of the puzzle, any type of relationship you find yourself in, friendship, romantic relationships, work relationships, etc., will not stand the test of time.  I have an incredibly memory so I remember way too many things about way too much crap.  If someone tells me something I expect it to be the truth and since I don’t often forget things people tell me, it often places me in rather difficult positions.  I am not one to trust easily so when that trust is breached, I am not one to forget and forgive.

A former “friend” of mine once told me “when you’re done, you’re done” and that holds true even today.  I will do everything within my power to be the best friend, confidante, lover, employee, daughter, sibling, etc. that I can possibly be.  However when I’m done, I’m done.

Growing up in North Carolina, my father and grandfather, grew tobacco… which meant getting the ground ready, setting, cutting, hanging and sorting once dried…

Now I understand that I have probably missed more than one step along the way however it has been more than 20 years (probably more like 30+) since my family raised tobacco. After all this time I can still remember all of the hard work that goes into raising tobacco.

A couple of years ago, I heard about a tobacco basket that was at this nearby consignment shop…

The picture is not of the best quality and the basket has definitely seen better days…however I know without a shadow of a doubt that each time I catch a glimpse of it, I think of my father and grandfather, whom I love and miss each and every day… so to me…the piece is absolutely perfect.
